If we haven't met yet, the first thing I should mention is natural photographs are what I'm all about. Un-posed. Genuine relaxed smiles. Hand holding and Hugging photographs. Mixed with nature's beautiful backdrop of tall tree's and flowers in bloom.
My name is Hannah (middle name is Elizabeth) and I'm a creative Wedding and Portrait photographer based in Garstang Lancashire, covering Lancashire, Cumbria, Lancaster, Preston, Blackpool, Manchester The Northwest and beyond.
I took my first photograph with my Mothers film camera when I was 9, and I've been captivated ever since. I'm abit of an old romantic, a sentimental creature, so my favourite photographs to take are the ones that capture real, raw emotion - I've also always lived in the countryside, surrounded by tree's and fields, so I'm naturally drawn to using nature as my backdrop whenever I can. At weddings or events, I always encourage portraits to be taken outside, in a pretty flower filled corner, in the shade of a mid summer tree or under the vista of a dramatic winter sky. For family portrait sessions, one of the wonderful bonuses of going for a stroll in a park or a woodland, instead of a white backdrop and studio lighting, is how much being outside puts everyone at ease. It also gives children space to explore and run and be themselves. Above all, I want to give you photographs that truely capture your family, interacting and having fun, and to give you a feeling of warmth when you look back at them.
Weddings
I'd be lying if I said weddings arn't my favourite thing to photograph, I can't help but get excited about capturing all the emotions, the detailed photographs of the huge amount of effort and planning you'll have made to put your unique day together, the little glances shared between the Bride and Groom and all the smiles that will be joining you on the day. I'll spend the day blending into the background, capturing the day as it organically unfolds, alongside a collection of creative portraits of the Bride and Groom in some pretty spots around the venue.
No-one wants a stranger attending their weddings, so by the time your wedding day arrives, I'd love to have met you in person atleast once to talk about your wedding photographs, hear your plans (it's quite likely that I'll get excited!) and to take some free portraits of you both before the big day - this is a really great way to have a test run, get to know each other and to see what will work best for you on the day.

Portrait Sessions
I also offer Portrait sessions with the same informal approach, to create emotive photographs of families and couples interacting and connecting together in natural settings (Oh Hello forests, parks and mountains!) This includes 1 hour of photography, your choice of location, 35 edited photographs and an online client gallery

Natural photographs and portraits. On the day, I'll arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to photograph your guests arriving. I'll then capture the ceremony, the reception and a collection of portraits with friends and family. Includes 2 hours of photography, 100 edited photographs and an online client gallery

Pet Portraits
Dogs, cats, horses! Animals deserve to be photographed too, so I offer a 1 hour photography session, either at your home or at an outside location of your choice. Why not include you and your family in some of the photographs too. Includes 25 edited images and an online client gallery

Birthdays, Engagements, Anniversaries, Family gatherings - For these I like to blend into the background to capture natural photographs of you and your guests enjoying the party, alongside a collection of portraits taken with friends and family.
